抄録; Abstract
本プロジェクトでは、植芝盛平（いわゆる大先生）の『武産合気』口述講義（Takahashi, 1986）について、独立した批判的翻訳を提示する。内容には、文化的配慮を伴う翻訳、欄外註、参照文献、そして本文から切り分けた注解を含める。さらに、ローマ字による読みを付し、テクスト断片の異同や助詞など発話の微粒子の変異に関する潤沢な注記を添える。これらの注記は、大先生と読者／聴き手のあいだで共有される共同注意の対象を指し示す、指標的言語の働きを明示するためである。方法としては、日本語の文語↔英語の批判的翻訳、概念—概念の略式詩学、多様な句読点（エムダッシュを含む）、および批判的翻訳の技法を用いて、表現上の効果を可能な限り再現する。ここでいう効果には、（すべてを尽くすわけではないが）上の句から下の句への「折り畳み」の影、掛詞の同音、枕詞、切れ字による切断、そして余韻としての残響が含まれる。こうした再現は、祝詞的要素を濃く帯びた講義として、概念を音楽的言語――すなわち言霊――として作業記憶に載せ、修行と組み合わせることで、武道伝承の事後的（回顧的）検証を補助することが期待される。
In this project, we present independent critical translations of Morihei Ueshiba’s (i.e., O-Sensei) Takemusu Aiki Oral Lectures (Takahashi, 1986), culturally sensitive translations (honyaku; 翻訳), marginal glosses, references, and separated commentary (chūkai; 注解). Included are romanized readings and copious notes on permutations of text fragments and particles of speech providing indexical language pointing to an object of joint attention between O-Sensei and reader/hearer. In this we use Japanese bungo ↔ English critical translation, abbreviated concept-to-concept poetics, diverse punctuation (including em-dashes), and critical translation to reproduce effects. These effects include, but are not limited to shadows of kami-no-ku (上の句) to shimo-no-ku (下の句) “folding”, kakekotoba (掛詞) homophones, makurakotoba (枕詞) pillow-words, kireji (切れ字) cuts, and yoin (余韻) after resonance. These reproductions, as Norito-laden-lecture, load concepts onto working memory as musical language (i.e., kotodama), when paired with shugyō, are expected to assist with retrospective validation of budō transmission.
