無限重合氣神社は、修行の暮らしのうちにある神社です。2019年の創建以来、修行会と氏子崇敬者が、その維持と手入れを担っています。
御祭神は、無限重合氣大御神。ゴムと墨、織りと結び、不思議と問い。ここでは、それらを祈りから遠ざけず、神前へ携えてゆきます。神は偶像でも礼拝の対象でもなく、自然や宇宙の現象を映し出す象徴であり、イコンであり、指標です。

Mugen Jūgōki Jinja is a shrine within a life of shugyō. Founded in 2019, it is maintained by Shugyōkai and its affiliated ujiko-sūkeisha.
The enshrined kami is Mugen Jūgōki Ōmi-Kami. Latex and ink, weaving and joining, wonder and questions: here, they are carried into prayer rather than placed outside it. Kami is neither idol, nor object of worship, but a symbol, icon, and index of natural and cosmic phenomena.

私が望む、ただ一つの姿。

I am Latex G.N.R. Space-Coyote. Latex is my robe of practice. I tend this shrine in the form I choose, within the life I am living.
The form in this photograph is the only me I truly want and desire to be. I do not intend to set it aside in order to stand before the kami.
Sitting, setting things in order, making, welcoming: prayer, desire, play, and care belong to this life together. Guardianship is not only a posture. It is also how I answer the next day.

守護と、帰還。
Guardianship and return.
この神社の宇宙論では、守護者はゴム妖怪として語られます。伸び、変わり、帰り来るもの。帰守と氏子の言葉を通して、私は、変容だけでなく、戻ってきた後に何を護るかを問いつづけています。
私は、その護りを、誰かの姿を奪うこととしては生きたくありません。違いを、清めるべき穢れと決めつけないこと。出会いのうちで、気づき、応じること。
In the shrine’s cosmology, its guardians are spoken of as latex yōkai: stretching, changing, returning. Through the names kaerimori and ujiko, I attend not only to transformation but to what is cared for after a return.
I do not wish to live that guardianship by taking another’s form away. Difference is not, by itself, an impurity to remove. An encounter asks for attention and a response.

Materials brought into devotion.
黒いゴムに、白い紙垂。織り目に、道のタイヤの溝の跡。神社の文章では、輪や轍、ジンバルまでが、神前の言葉となります。異なる材料の出会いを、私は、護りと変容のうちに読んでいます。
その響きと、物の歴史とは、行き来しながらも区別して読みたい。ここでの意味づけを、すべての神社に共通する決まりとしては示しません。
White shide against black rubber. A weave and a trace of tire tread on road. In the shrine’s writing, wheels, treads, and gimbals enter the language of devotion. I read these encounters of materials through guardianship and transformation.
That resonance and the history of the objects can speak to one another without becoming identical. The meanings developed here are not presented as rules shared by every shrine.

同じ姿でなくとも。
Fellowship without sameness.
私の行衣はゴムです。あなたの衣を、私が決めることはありません。同じ姿や同じ語彙を求めるのではなく、互いの行に注意を向けること。ここでの友誼を、私は、そのように大切にしています。
読むことは、入会でも誓約でもありません。問いを持つことと、礼を尽くすことは、両立します。
My robe is latex. It is not for me to choose yours. Fellowship need not mean one form or one vocabulary; it can begin with attention to one another’s practice.
Reading is not enrollment or a pledge. Questions and reverence can share a place.
