There is currently active independent study in researching intersectionality of significance quest theory (SQT; Kruglanski et al., 2013; Kruglanski et al. 2022), flow (Csikszentmihalyi, 1975, 1978), self-concept, and their relations to additional variables (e.g., aggression). Based on independent research during undergraduate studies at Washington State University, this research has continued wherein self-concept had been proposed as a constellation of values (i.e., compass; Hodges, 2023) which is related to needs, motivations, and attitudes.
