On Arriving at Peace

The reason peace is not yet found, is that peace doesn’t obstruct war, peace does not interrupt, nor does it advert. Peace invites, through space and time. It doesn’t make more work in the absense of work. It doesn’t compete to arrive first or arrive last. It does not seek to harm. Peace does not advertise, it is exactly that which doesn’t advertise. Peace is yin. Interruption, advertisement, all these are at war for attention. While some war is useful, for survival, only the war for the subduing of self-view, of we-view, is beneficial for the world, thus it is said that true victory is self victory, and that it is a swift victory, and the final victory.
