… and what is it that occurs to land these heaps, this flame, burning across time, and space, across samsara, to arrive, bearing witness, as a fruit, fallen from a tree arrives at fertile or unfertile earth. So, knowing, that there is enduring view, knowing that there is perception, so as what is perceived is arisen, to know with wisdom, panna, prajna paramita, to understand, to comprehend, to bear witness to this seeing of crime, to bear witness to psychopathy, to bear witness to a realm filming, creating, works of art, of music, of sound, of color, of taste, of texture, of melody, and rhythms in print, as well as vision… of the dramatic, of wrong thoughts, wrong words, and wrong deeds…
what fruit is this, and what tree did it arise from… “and still you don’t believe in cause and effect,” the teacher [will]admonish[ed], atemporally, aspatially, beyond time, beyond space… for the very arrival in this realm, the very thus come, the very inflection, thus gone, for it is as a fruit fallen from the tree, and this tree, the palm, topped with fronds waving about in the breeze, tossed in its churning waves, so too is the mind subject to the fruits of intention. though some objects are collateral damage, the majority of the senses are, indeed, very much, in fact, quite exactly, the fruit of karma, the results. and just bearing witness in vision, in hearing, in smelling, in tasting, in touching, in recollection… these very five heaps, burning dull, burning bright…
this, just this, is not self. and realization, is as the palm whereby the top is cut off, and the stump remains. no longer tossed about, free, liberated from the turbulence of coming, of going… thus come, thus gone… such is the realization of prajna paramita… knowing… directly… the cause… of this very key touch, of this very key press… for how can this bee, landed upon the thin stalk, stabilized, as the nectar, precious, illuminates the world? such is meditative tranquility… inseprable… from wisdom… bodhicitta. It is not self, it is not other, it is not we, it is not they, it is not vehicle, it is not brand. Far apart from perverted views, the heaps aflame, put out, dwell gone… gone… gone beyond… utterly gone far beyond… bodhi svaha… the ramp inclined, according to capacity… so do not be surprised, the deva speaks to thee, this is exactly samsara.
